Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the author of numerous well-known American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show began in 2002. Ina began to write policy and nuclear energy documents to the White House. Although she found her job to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and purchased a small specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making the store extremely successful prior to selling it before acquiring a pen to write her first cookbook. Others followed, and so did magazine columns. The Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. In addition, she sells a variety of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina she is a self-taught cook and has not attended a culinary school or in a hotel. She is known for her easy style of cooking as well as her easy approach to entertainment. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet and Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
