Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Later, in 1956, she made her big break on Broadway with Li'l Abner. She released her album It's too late for Tina in the same year. Louise began with her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success, and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic rather than her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
