Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she took flute lessons as well as the harpsichord for a period of three years. Lennox's budget was increased by the stipend of a student, and she worked part-time in order to meet her financial obligations. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was disappointed in her performance when compared to her fellow students. Lennox began looking at other options. Lennox was a flute player in a band formed in 1976 called Dragons Playground. The group didn't make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980, she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. It was during this time that she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she formed her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva to be released by 1992. It had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's top blues, jazz, soul and blues songs from her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano that Lennox dropped in May 2019. The E.P. is the companion album to her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named"Now I'm Giving You go... This album is her first released independently.
