Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the only woman to win both the CrossFit Games twice. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity media personality. The woman was the first to win in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. In 2013, and in 2017, she was the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from when she was a young age. She took part for the first time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games in California and did excellently. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She performed quite well through the first couple of matches. She finished amongst in the top 10 out of more than 70. While she didn't win any titles She finished in eleventh spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in second place, and also won the silver medal same year. Following a long period of CrossFit Games Annie took home her very first CrossFit Games. Her impressive display was enough to earn her the title. Annie took home another gold medal at the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. She also won a gold medal. Then in 2021 she took home the bronze medal. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae and a host of others. She also has her own Youtube channel known as "Annie", with over three thousand followers. It has videos that discuss training diets and family life.
