Hayley is an American actor and singer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". Although she's a singer however, her passion for music. She says that music has always been her first passion. When she was 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough that she began professionally trained. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she released her first album of cover songs. And the rest is history. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. She's proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots although she was raised using English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. One of her efforts was an original Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first season of The X Factor. Orrantia got selected out of an YouTube video submission and received four "yes" vote from jury in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. She initially auditioned in the show "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. However, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of the rest of her tracks. They were eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
